About my family: I am married to James Atkinson, he sells himself short alot of the time but he has a huge impact on people and I just try to encourage him to use it toward the Kingdom. We have a son James, he is so grounded and obedient to the Lord, even through all the trials he has handled with God’s strength and it is a encouragement to me. My Dad’s name is James and he is my rock and I modeled my raising my son after him. My Father-in-law is also named James. I am so blessed to have my family they complete me and I wouldn’t be who I am without them.
Why I serve: I feel that God has called me to do this at this point in my life and I just want to be obedient.
Advice: Life is all about choices.

Goal: To raise my children to love the Lord with their whole heart. I would also like to do more mission work.

About my Family: Married to Damon Butcher and have 6 children ranging from 3-18. I home school and try to teach them to be musicians. We have a loud house, the boys like playing golf, the girls like cooking.
Why I serve: I like the extra time I get to spend more time to get to know the girls and be able to minister to them. I like to challenge them to look at life circumstances through a biblical viewpoint.

Advice: Dig into your walk with Christ at an early age because you will be so much better later on in life.

About my Family: Greta is married to Jeff Louis. She has two children, Justin and Cassie. She also has 2 dogs (Pudge and Mocha), 2 horses (Cash and Babydoll), and 2 cows who are not named.

Why I serve: I serve a risen LORD who expects me to share the gifts that he has given to me. I feel a calling to teach the Bible to students with a desire to lead them away from the path that I chose as a young person and to the right path that includes Jesus Christ as our LORD.
About the Family: My wife and I have been married for 26 years now and both of our kids, Cassie and Justin, spent six years in the FBC Youth Group.
Advice: Dive into the deep end, take chances, work hard, love and respect your mother and most of all, love Jesus. He will guide you successfully through all things if you let him. Study, really study, the Bible and let that knowledge be the sword that defeats the advances of the evil one.

Why I serve: Since I didn’t have any children of my own these students are like my children. I love investing in each of their lives.
About my family: I am married to Jody Mikles. I am the youngest of four, two older brothers and an older sister. I have lots of nieces and nephews and my brothers grandkids are like my own. We are a very close family and do alot of thing together.
Advice: Always do the right things even if you’re the only one who knows your doing the right thing.

Goal: Serve the Lord through job, church, community and family. We are all called to serve so want to be an example of Him.

Why I serve: It is important to invest in others’ lives. We are called to disciple. Teaching a Sunday School class provides an opportunity to invest with youth. It also allows him to see the progression of the youth.

Advice: Take time to have a quiet time and spend time with God daily. Be humble and pursue a walk with Him daily.
